"I have this great idea for a sketch, possibly for the Chappelle show. It involves the popular "roller shoes" and ghetto minority gang members using them as the new style. (running from cops). Cops also can have the roller shoes but with blue and red flashing lights. The ghetto people can "ice out" and hook up their roller shoes as if they were cars. This is a fast summary of my idea. Hi Diego! Thanks for your excellent idea! I'm going to personally guarantee you that the next Chappelle's Show will definitely feature this sketch! We can fire Charlie Murphy or something.

Just so we're on the same page, I wanted to clear up something I was a little confused about. By "ghetto minority gang members" and "ghetto people" are you talking about... Urban? We just had a presentation from our awesome legal team on the difference, but I got bored. Anyway, I just want to make sure we're not going to get into any trouble on this one. But we couldn't do our jobs without this great input from our fans!

Most of our reader mail consists of entreaties to Stephen and/or Jon to cover local scandals, or suggestions for jokes or guests for the show. We kind of delete them immediately because this isn't the right place (sorry, some of the ideas are really good).

But sometimes a gem like this comes in and the reader must be rewarded.

Mr. Colbert -
I have been a steady admirer of yours since the days of your enhancement of the Jon Stewart Show and have admired your non sense of color and truthiness.  I find that I too am color blind to race and have been stressing on how to help you find a new black friend after the unexplained loss of yours.

Recently I have made a new black friend and therefore find myself with more riches than I can find time for and am therefore willing to donate my spare black friend (people tell me he is black.  I hope it isn't a cruel joke at my expense) to you.

He is friendly, has a fine sense of humor, hard working and loyal.  I think that you would enjoy his companionship in those late hours when you find yourself alone.
