I'm excited about Comedy Central's new version of The Gong Show, because in 25 years we'll get to see a cool movie about how Dave Attell (played by Sam Rockwell, Jr.) juggled a secret life as a CIA operative while hosting the show. But you should be excited about the show because it's an opportunity to be on television, just like Ellen Burstyn in Requiem for a Dream!
If you think you have what it takes, here are the audition details:
Comedy Central and host Dave Attell are looking for the most unusual, absurd, bizarre, twisted and unique performers out there.
All acts are welcome to submit – cutting edge variety, stupid human tricks, stupid animal tricks, the more insane the better!
This summer series will be taping soon so don't miss the chance to have your act seen by millions as we celebrate the absurd!
