A few months ago, we showed you the trailer for Doug Benson's potumentary Super High Me. The movie will be out on DVD in June, and to promote its release, Best Week Ever has an interview with Benson today:

BWE: Well then, this is as good a time as any to ask you about your new documentary, "Super High Me" - which is basically you partaking in another self-indulgent activity.

DB: Yes, it’s basically a rip-off of "Supersize Me," but with pot instead of McDonalds. I was high all day every day for 30 days. But to make the movie fair and balanced - Fox News style - I abstained from smoking pot for 30 days.

BWE: Wow, that’s just like Fox News.  So…what did you learn from this experiment?

DB: Not much actually. I thought going into it that I would be sick of weed after a month of constant use. But I still like it. Kids, don’t do drugs.

BWE: Is there anything that you would be sick of after a month of constant use?

DB: I wouldn’t want to do anything besides smoke pot for a whole month. Variety is the spice of life. That, and paprika.

Morgan Spurlock ate McDonald's for 30 days and made a movie. Now, the Marijuanalogues' Doug Benson has made a documentary about pot abstinence...and its opposite. Trailer:

Punchline did a fun thing. They asked a bunch of standups for their New Years resolutions. They posted the results today and there are more than a few bona fide humdingers. I LOL'd at Doug Benson's:

I resolve not to believe everything I read. Because I saw a dog in a cage that had a sign on it that said, "I bite." And I was like, that is good to know, doggie. But you should make a sign that says, "I make signs."

Maria Bamford's is funny too:

My New Year's resolution is to master and defeat death— and drink more water.
