Last year, TJ Miller hosted Mash Up, a unique comedy special blending live stand-up with sketches and other onscreen visualizations. If you saw it, then you probably won't be surprised to learn that Comedy Central is turning the special into a series. And if you're going to be in LA next week, you could attend a taping.

Two shows will tape each night on Tuesday, April 3 and Wednesday, April 4 at 7:45pm and 9:45pm at the El Rey Theater with a pretty astounding lineup that includes Deon Cole, Nick Vatterott, Reggie Watts, Sean Flannery, Tom Segura, Chris D'Elia, Jessi Klein, Mary Lynn Rajskub, Jonah Ray, Pete Holmes, Jon Dore, Jared Logan, Chris Hardwick and Hannibal Buress, with more to be announced.

Click here to request free tickets. In the meantime, here's a clip from the special that started it all:

When you watch Jo Koy: Lights Out this Sunday at 10/9c, you'll see him talk about the benefits of natural birth-control, his mother's terrible advice, sleep apnea and more. But one thing you won't see is this backstage video. For that you'll have to wait for the DVD, which drops Tuesday. You can pre-order here.

Just when you think you’re out of Austin, Texas, they pull you back in! I finally wake up with no sign of the South by Southwest hangover, only to see that, this week, Austin’s inaugural Moontower Comedy and Oddity Fest added some more big names to the previously released list of over 40 comedians performing.

Host of Russell Simmons Presents: The Ruckus, JB Smoove, is among the new additions, which also include Wanda Sykes and Laraine Newman. And Nick Offerman will be joining his previously announced Parks and Rec co-star Aziz Ansari at the fest, along with the likes of Hannibal Buress, Maria Bamford, Seth Meyers, and John Mulaney.

Here’s JB last season of The Ruckus:

If you can’t catch JB in Texas, you can preorder his first-ever Comedy Central stand-up special, JB Smoove: That’s How I Dooz It, now, and be one of the first people to get it when the uncensored and extended DVD and digital download drop on Tuesday, April 3.

I've always had a distaste for the game 7 Minutes in Heaven, mostly because it was so often used as a ruse to lock me in a closet with a cete of rabid badgers when I was growing up. But Mike O'Brien's web series 7 Minutes in Heaven has definitely made me reconsider.

This episode featuring Kristen Wiig is up for Best Viral Original at this year's Comedy Awards. Click here to watch all of the nominees and vote for your favorite.

Find out who wins when the second annual Comedy Awards airs Sunday, May 6 on Comedy Central.

1999 was a pretty big year, mostly because it was the last year before the Y2K bug ravaged society, leaving behind a barren, dystopian hellscape. But also because it featured the premiere of Futurama on this very date, March 28. To celebrate the show's 13th birthday, here's the pilot episode's very first scene. Whip up a Futurama cake and watch it again for the first time.
