Anyone who's read this blog even a little is probably well aware that there are a lot of people with Futurama tattoos. Statistically speaking, your grandma has a giant rendering of Slurms McKenzie permanently etched in ink on her back. It's just math; don't bother arguing. But, while we've seen too many Futurama tattoos to count on people, we've never seen a Futurama tattoo on a robot… until now.

I would have guessed the most popular TV show with demons was either How I Met Your Necromancer, Morgue & Mindy or Two Broke Girls, but according to the demon in this video, it's actually Ugly Americans. Watch it for yourself, then become a Friend of Ugly Americans by liking the show on Facebook and grabbing the special #FUGLY badge.
The season premiere of Ugly Americans airs next Wednesday at 10:30/9:30c after South Park. In the meantime, catch up on past seasons by watching a bunch of full episodes over here.
How many new shows did your basic cable comedy network greenlight today? One? Maybe two at best? Yeah, well Comedy Central has just announced pickups for three new series set to debut this summer and next year. Here's what we have to look forward to:
The Burn will feature Roastmaster General Jeff Ross taking his knack for skewering from the Roast dais and aiming it at the week's current events while joined by some of his funniest comedian friends. About the news, Jeff said, "Thank you Comedy Central. My mission is clear. To rip the world a new asshole one crack at a time. I can't wait to get started."
The Burn will premiere this summer with six episodes.
Review with Forrest MacNeil is a mocumentary series starring Andy Daly in the title role of a TV host who experiences the extremities of life, from murder to anonymous sex, and then reviews and rates them for his audience. "This show will be a great service to society,” said Andy. “If you're thinking about cheating on your spouse or murdering someone, please wait until we review it so you can avoid the pitfalls and enjoy the experience."
Finally, Nathan Fielder stars in Nathan for You, which will see the Jon Benjamin Has a Van writer offering uninformed advice to small business owners. “Picking up my show is a great move for Comedy Central,” said Nathan. “I wouldn't be surprised if we see a major uptick in Viacom stock today.”
Review with Forrest MacNeil and Nathan for You will both premiere in 2013. In the meantime, here's The Burn's Jeff Ross doing what he does best at The Comedy Central Roast of Charlie Sheen:

You could tell he was an uncreative douche the second he dissed Highlights. It's Fun with a Purpose, you fart knocker!
If I met Bruce Springsteen, the first thing I'd do is ask him, "Who's The Boss? You or Tony Danza?" And then, after having completed my purpose on this Earth, I'd turn into dust and blow towards the great American highway featured in his music.
Jon Stewart recently talked to Bruce Springsteen for an upcoming issue of Rolling Stone. Don't worry! No one turned into dust! Jon talked about how strange it is being friends with one of his heroes…
"It’s not at all surreal," Stewart says with heavy sarcasm, referring to his friendship with the legendary rocker. "It’s very hard to reconcile sitting and fishing in a little pond in New Jersey with a guy that you spent many years hitchhiking the New Jersey I-95 corridor to see in Philadelphia back in the day. The only band I think I’ve seen more than Bruce Springsteen is the Springsteen tribute band Backstreets. I try not to let him know how pathetic I truly am."
You'll be able to pick up the issue on March 16. In the meantime, you can read the rest of the preview here.
The Daily Show airs Monday through Thursday at 11/10c.

Don't forget next Wednesday is Estonian Mother Tongue Day too, so pretty much the best day ever.

I do my best to keep in mind that as a mammalian humanoid, I was born into this world with a lot of privilege that aren't afforded to sea-monsters. After all, just try ordering krill in a restaurant and see what kind of looks you get. Still, this Friends of Ugly Americans video featuring an NYC-based fishman is a welcome reminder that we can all try harder.

I don't know about you, but I was all ready to declare the Flicker sketch on last night's Key & Peele one of the best of the season. Not only was it super funny, but it was gorgeously shot. Of course, I have to rethink everything now that Vandaveon and Mike have pointed out the glaring dearth of dicks in the sketch. Incidentally, my band The Glaring Dearth of Dicks is playing at The Elbow Room this Saturday night. Bring your friends.
First up, in case you missed it, here's the original sketch:
