Futurama's one-hour season premiere airs June 23 at 10/9c!

Today is Star Wars Day ("May the 4th be with you"), which is either nerd Christmas or geek Thanksgiving, I can never remember. The point is, it's the most important day of the year for nerds, geeks, dweebs, dorks and spazzburgers. But this May 4 is even more special for the greater nerd community, because it's also the launch of this year's Countdown to Futurama!

Every day (even weekends) until the June 23 premiere, we will present an exclusive piece of content from the new episodes. That's fifty consecutive days of awesome Futurama whatnots and whosits, and it kicks off with a doozy. Here now is your first look at one of the upcoming episodes:

Yesterday we showed you the first installment of The Colbert Report's series My Fair Colbert. Honestly, it was one of the funniest things I've seen in a long time, which is saying a lot, because my roommates are a farting panda and a monkey on rollerblades. Last night, Stephen presented parts two and three, and if you missed any of the series you can find the complete saga after the jump. But first, we've got two exclusive outtakes. In this first one, Stephen learns about suitable topics of discussion during high tea.

George Carlin's widow Sally Wade recently published a new memoir called The George Carlin Letters: The Permanent Courtship of Sally Wade which combines Wade's account of life with Carlin with never-before-seen letters and drawings by the late comedy legend. It's a fascinating look at a side of Carlin that few really knew, and today, we are pleased to present an additional letter that didn't make it into the book.

Good news, everyone! Pearl Jam, Angry Birds and NPR can all officially suck it. That's because Futurama just crossed 10 million likes on Facebook, which is more than all three of those other things combined! Christmas might be over, and I am fully aware that outside of the holiday, giving people things that make them happy is illegal in our Obama police state. Fortunately, I am willing to go to face a death panel to post this exclusive clip of a table read from the production of Futurama's latest season. The table read is for the episode Prisoner of Benda. My favorite part is hearing the cast laugh as they read the script because it reminds me of what joy sounds like.

As you might have heard, Big Lake is a new original sitcom from Comedy Central starring Chris Gethard, Horatio Sanz and Chris Parnell and executive produced by Will Ferrell and Adam McKay. That's so many funny people! It's a good thing the lake is big, because a little lake would not be able to hold all those guys. Anyway, while Gonzalo was at the San Diego Comic Con last month, he got a chance to talk to Chris Gethard, who was wearing the worst Storm Trooper costume I've ever seen.

Big Lake premieres on Comedy Central, Tuesday, August 17 at 10pm / 9c.
