Just in time for Valentine's Day comes what has to be the most romantic Futurama Fanarama yet (sorry, guys with naked Leela tattoos!) It's a delightful marriage proposal video from YouTube user doctorpoppa who proves that anyone who says a guy in a Bender mask speaking binary can't find true love can bite his shiny metal ass.
This Bender snowman created by Redditor haypenny is a lot like Frosty the Snowman, except instead of a jolly, happy soul, he's a sassy, grouchy machine, and his magic comes from whiskey rather than a top hat. Oh, and instead of spreading holiday cheer, he wants to kill all humans. But, you know, other than that, pretty much the same.
Robots are a modern marvel that excite the world's imagination. But you know what's even more exciting? The miracle of turning wood pulp into paper! Redditor vanillacustardCubeecraft combined the two to make a 3D paper cut-out of Bender. Now you'll be the coolest kid on the block, holding up your paper bender and making it say things like, "Kiss my shiny, printer paper ass!"
After the jump, I've posted what the little guy will look like once complete.
In need of an easter egg in Action Comics issue #863? Why not Zoidberg? Via the Comics Should Be Good blog comes this frame from a Superman story set in the future that features the decapodian "M"D in the back of a paddy-wagon, presumably on charges of medical malfeasance.
Being a good cartoonist isn't just knowing how to draw, it's knowing when to stop drawing. If cartoonists filled out every detail, Mickey Mouse would eventually look like a rodent with rickets. And in the case of Futurama, if you keep filling out the details of Professor Farnsworth, you get the most horrifying thing imaginable: an old person with an overbite!
Any Futurama nerd worth his or her salt knows a Decapodian doesn't simply spring forth from its mother's loins in a humanoid state like we do, but rather develops through a multi-stage life cycle. I could describe that life cycle to you, but if I wanted to describe things, I'd blog on the radio. Instead I'll show you with this wonderful illustration by Redditor Phinix's girlfriend.
String theory proposes there are multiple universes existing alongside each other. An infinite amount of universes means an infinite amount of possible outcomes. So there'd be a universe where the Vietnam War was fought by puppies and kittens. Or a universe where Darth Vader was Han Solo's father. And there'd definitely be a universe where a Futurama movie was made in the late 80's…

Last year, we saw a truck sporting some impressing Leela graffiti. And now we have this excellent Nibbler van spotted by Redditor omgchris. It all really leaves just one question: if the Leela truck and Nibbler van became Transformers and fought, who would win? Discuss.
