Well, the answers to all your questions can be found in The Sarah Silverman Program Season 2, Volume 2 DVD set, which hits stores today. Here's a clip:

Colbert Talks Meat with Jonathan Safran Foer

Posted by: Matt Tobey

On last night's Colbert Report, Stephen interviewed author Jonathan Safran Foer, whose new book is a startling exposé of the factory-farmed meat industry. Personally, I've always been pretty conflicted about eating meat. On the one hand, I feel a great deal of empathy for the plight of farm animals. On the other hand, I'm completely incapable of resisting the demands of clowns and women named Wendy.

The Colbert Report airs Monday through Thursday at 11:30pm / 10:30c.

Stephen Colbert on Jimmy Fallon Tonight

Posted by: Matt Tobey

Stephen Colbert appeared on Late Night with Conan O'Brien a number of times, but tonight he makes his first appearance on the show since Jimmy Fallon took over hosting duties. He'll be there to talk about the US Speedskating team. Here's a recent Colbert Report segment about a Glamour Magazine poll involving Stephen, Jimmy and Conan.

The Colbert Report airs Monday through Thursday at 11:30pm / 10:30c.

The Comedy Central Insider Boilerplate Interview: Anjelah Johnson

Posted by: Matt Tobey

anjelah_johnson_v9Of all the stand-ups who were once cheerleaders for the Oakland Raiders, Anjelah Johnson is definitely the best, though it's worth mention that Gallagher is a close second. Anjelah's special That's How We Do It comes out on DVD and CD tomorrow and re-airs on Comedy Central this Friday night at 12:30am / 11:30c, so we sent her the boilerplate questions and got to know her a little better.

Who are your biggest comedic influences?
Ellen Degeneres, George Lopez, and I also enjoy Brian Regan's storytelling.

When did you decide to become a comedian?
2005

What was your worst gig?
When I first started I would do Latino nights and try to be way more Latino than I really was. They would always see right through me and hate me. *crickets*

What was your best gig?
hmm… The taping of my Comedy Central 1hr special!

If you weren't a comedian, what would you be doing?
I quite possibly could still be a terrible waitress somewhere.

What's the funniest thing you've ever seen on the internet?
I'm a YouTube regular so it's hard to pick just one. I'm big fan of kids saying funny things or silly animals. That never gets old.

What's the funniest thing you've ever seen in real life?
Has anybody really answered this question

How do you think comedy will change in the coming years?
There are so many different kinds of comedy these days. Mainstream, Alternative, Dark, Blue, Clean, Ethnic… Its hard to say how it might change. I can only hope, like in everything that I do, just grow and get better.

Who are your favorite underrated or up-and-coming comics?
Whitney Cummings is about to be a household name. She is smart, funny and has no fear. Nate Bargatze is also another clever up and coming comic.

What's your advice for someone just getting into comedy?
Be Yourself! Stay true to who you are and be confident.

The Daily Show's Best John Oliver Moments

Posted by: Matt Tobey

In July of 2006, John Oliver made his debut appearance on The Daily Show. Less than a decade later, Jessica Simpson farted in a business meeting. Coincidence? There's truly no way to ever know for sure. But one thing we do know is, this Friday is the season finale of John Oliver's New York Stand-Up Show. To commemorate the auspicious occasion, here are some of his finest segments from The Daily Show so far.

Parliament Light (John's First Show)

The list continues below.

The Daily Show airs Monday through Thursday at 11pm / 10c, and the season finale of John Oliver's New York Stand-Up Show airs Friday at 11pm / 10c with guests Paul F. Tompkins, Mary Lynn Rajskub, Chris Hardwick and Greg Fitzsimmons.

Colbert Auctions Fireplace Portrait

Posted by: Matt Tobey

If you missed out on the interview table and the C-shaped desk, you've still got one more opportunity to own a piece of Colbert Histor-Me. Don't blow this, dummy! This time, Stephen is selling his famous fireplace portrait. If you win the auction, not only will you get a fancy piece of fine art to hang in your living room, you'll also be helping a good cause, because all of the proceeds go to The Yellow Ribbon Fund.

The Colbert Report airs Monday through Thursday at 11:30pm / 10:30c.

Kristen Schaal's Pretend Baby Is So Lazy

Posted by: Matt Tobey

I don't know anything about babies. I don't know what they eat, I don't know how to clean them, and I definitely don't know how to speak their weird language. Which is too bad, because I have like four or five of them. Kristen Schaal, on the other hand, doesn't have any babies, but that doesn't mean she can't appeal to the baby-haver demographic.

After the jump, there's a web-exclusive video featuring John Oliver and Rob Riggle (who's getting his own sitcom!) along with another clip from tonight's episode of John Oliver's New York Stand-Up Show, which airs at 11pm / 10c and features Kristen Schaal, Nick KrollChris Hardwick and Matt Braunger.

Jon Stewart on The O'Reilly Factor: Complete and Unedited

Posted by: Matt Tobey

You saw part one of Jon Stewart's appearance on The O'Reilly Factor, and you saw part two. But now, for the first time, you can see the interview in its entirety without any cuts or edits. Super-fans will take note that, in this version, it finally becomes clear beyond a doubt that Greedo did indeed shoot first.

But before we get to that, here's Jon talking to his therapist about the appearance on last night's Daily Show.

Bill O'Reilly's unedited interview with Jon can be found below.

The Daily Show airs Monday through Thursday at 11pm / 10c.

Demetri Martin's Best Visual Aids

Posted by: Matt Tobey

The second season of Important Things with Demetri Martin premieres tonight with the theme "Attention." To celebrate, here's a mash-up of some of the show's best visual aids, which are one of my favorite aspects of the show. If Important Things was Manimal, the visual aids would be the part when Manimal changes into a snake.

Season two of Important Things with Demetri Martin premieres tonight at 10pm / 9c, followed by the season premiere of The Sarah Silverman Program.

The Baby Penis in Sarah Silverman's Mind

Posted by: Matt Tobey

Unless you just traveled here in a time-machine from the Victorian era and you're unfamiliar with our peculiar modern ways, you're well aware that the third season of The Sarah Silverman Program premieres tonight. And if you're not sufficiently geeked about it already, there's enough SSP-related content on the internet today to choke a horse. I'm serious, do not feed this stuff to your horse. Horses eat oats, not videos and interviews, dummy. First up, a preview clip from tonight's episode.

There's more after the jump.

The Sarah Silverman Program airs tonight at 10:30pm / 9:30c, right after the season premiere of Important Things with Demetri Martin.
