Last night's Colbert Report was the first of the two-part Returnification of the Ameri-Can-Do Troopscape series. Along with an audience made up completely of servicepeople, the show featured VP Joe Biden, who was the first US Vice President to appear on The Report, unless you believe Jeff Goldblum is actually Dick Cheney in an elaborate disguise. Stephen's interview with the Veep — as well as some high res photos from the taping — can be found after the jump, but first, here he is giving wieners to troops. That's so Biden!
The Colbert Report airs Monday through Thursday at 11:30pm / 10:30c.

At-ten-tion, Nation! This week, Stephen celebrates the official end of the Iraq War with two special shows, featuring an incredible roster of guests and an audience made up of entirely of members of the U.S. Armed Forces. Don't miss the most American two days of television since Ronald Reagan's 1982 57-round drag-out heavyweight championship bout with Mikhail Gorbachev, Hans Gruber and an infant John Walker Lindh.

That distant Acela Express whistle and faint smell of roasting Delaware in the air can only mean one thing: Biden fever is spreading.
Catch it September 8 when he helps Stephen Colbert kick off his two-day-long salute to America's fighting men and women. This will be Stephen's first-ever interview with a sitting vice president, so don't miss it for something stupid.
Watch his interview on The Daily Show from 2009 and set your TiVos.
The Colbert Report airs Monday through Thursday at 11:30pm / 10:30c.
