Watch the Final Stand-Up Month Winners Tonight!

January is almost over. Winter is halfway through and change is in the air. People were born and people died. Flowers wilted and seedlings sprouted. Girls became women and boys became men. Boyz II Men changed their names to Men II Old Guyz. I finally got my period. And the final week of voting for Comedy Central's Stand-Up Month came to an end.

Here are the winners, along with the times their specials will air tonight:

Amy Schumer: 9/8c

Watch This Week's Stand-Up Month Winners Tonight

These days, there are two ways to get votes in America: You can ask your wife for an open marriage and then self-righteously scold anyone who asks you about that time you asked your wife for an open marriage, or you can be super funny. I'll let you figure out how tonight's Friday Night Stand-Up lineup got the most votes this week.

Be sure to Watch, Like, and Follow your favorites from next week's crop.

Donald Glover – 9/8c

Vote For Your Favorite Comics in Week 3 of Stand-Up Month

Comedy Central's Stand-Up Month is very similar to the American presidential election, except the winners of Stand-Up Month will have their stand-up specials air Friday night, while the winner of the presidential election can make a law stating their self-produced stand-up special has to air every Friday night on every channel forever. Vote for your favorite stand-ups while we still have the right to do so!

The voting options for this week are Jeffrey Ross, Gabriel Iglesias, TJ Miller, Deray Davis, Kevin Hart, Tony Rock, Donald Glover, Carlos Mencia and Finesse Mitchell. Here's one of our favorite clips from Jeff Ross:

Go to the Comedy Central Stand-Up page to Watch, Like and Follow your favorites. Then tune in to see who wins Friday starting at 9/8c.

And for more stand-up, don't miss the premiere of JB Smoove: That's How I Dooz It, Saturday at 10/9c.

You think you're so smart, cool and sexy. You should be programming Comedy Central's stand-up specials, right? Well, it's not all about you, Mom! Sorry, I was replaying a conversation from earlier today. You guys, on the other hand, are totally smart, cool and sexy enough to vote on your favorite comics and help decide whose special airs tonight.

Here are the winners, along with the times their specials will air.

Corey Holcomb: 9/8c

Cast Your Vote for Friday's Stand-Up Month Shows

Tomorrow, GOP voters in New Hampshire will head to the polls to help select their party's Presidential nominee. But if you live outside of The Granite State and have a serious case of voting-envy, fret not, because you can still exercise your civic duty over on the Comedy Central Stand-Up Facebook page, where you can cast your ballot for your favorite comics among Aziz Ansari, Michael Ian Black, Earthquake, Jo Koy, Chelsea Handler, Katt Williams and more. Sadly, Rick Santorum is not included on account of he's so hilarious that it just wouldn't have been fair.

So, get over there and Watch, Like and Follow your favorites, then tune-in Friday night to see this week's winners.

For more Stand-Up Month revelry, don't miss the premiere of Kevin Hart: Laugh at My Pain Sunday at 9/8c.

Did you know January was Stand-Up Month? It's kind of like Black History Month, but instead of fascinating documentaries on the black experience featuring Wynton Marsalis playing on PBS, you vote for your favorite stand-up comics, and we program their specials on Comedy Central! Here are this week's winners, along with the time their specials will air tonight:

Chelsea Peretti: 9/8c

Cast Your Vote for Stand-Up Month

Posted by:

Last night in Iowa, thousands of regular Americans gathered together to exercise their right to vote, handing a win to Mitt Romney in the process. Seems like kind of a waste of democracy if you ask me. Thankfully, in honor of January being Stand-Up Month, Comedy Central Stand-Up is allowing you to vote for something truly worthwhile. Just head over to their Facebook page, like it, and you'll be able to vote to help decide which stand-up special will air each Friday this month.

Will it be Chris Rock, Arj Barker, Chelsea Peretti, Denis Leary, Ralphie May or someone else? You decide! Vote or die!

And for more stand-up, don't miss the premiere of Tom Papa: Live from New York this Sunday at 10/9c.

Stand-Up Month Interview: Dan Levy

Posted by:

Lower case letters are for the weak. A man who uses all upper case letters is a man who knows what he wants. He needs no shift keys, just a CAPS LOCK. If you were looking for such a man, look no further than stand-up Dan Levy. He answered all our questions the only way he knew how — with emphasis, power and capital letters.

What adjective would your mom or best-friend use to describe you?
HANDSOME AND LOUD.

If you could commit a crime with any historical figure, who would it be? What crime would you commit?
LINCOLN AND I THINK WE WOULD MURDER ASSASSINS.

How do you like your coffee/women/men?
STARBUCKS AND HALF AND HALF. DOES THAT MAKE SENSE? DOES IT MATTER? COOL.

First Aunt Viv or second Aunt Viv?
FIRST!

What did you dream about last night?
I DON'T WANT TO GET TOO GRAPHIC BUT IT INVOLVED ME BEING NAKED IN THE MANSION OF ZSA ZSA GABOR!

What is your spirit animal?
I'M NOT SURE. IS THAT LIKE YOUR HEBREW NAME?

Which subject were you best at in grade school?
UM… PASS.

What is your breakfast of champions?
ALWAYS A FAN OF THE BREAKFAST BURRITO.

Do you have pets?
NO. BUT THANKS FOR BRINGING UP MY DEAD DOG.

Do you like men/women with pets?
YES. I'M REALLY INTO EVERYTHING ON THE ANIMAL PLANET.

What do you do when you are not doing comedy?
TALKING ON THE PHONE OR BUYING SNEAKERS.

Vote for Dan Levy in Jokes.com's Stand-Up Showdown. Just by voting, you are automatically entered to win a trip for two to the South Beach Comedy Festival — a perfect place to hide from the cops.

Stand-Up Month Interview: Shane Mauss

Posted by:

Little school children everywhere are celebrating Stand-Up Month (January) with presentations of bits and dioramas of jokes. Personally, I celebrate by voting in Jokes.com's Stand-Up Showdown and asking questions of comedians. First up is Shane Mauss, who wants to perform stand-up for you and your family. Happy Stand-Up Month, world.

Who are your comedic influences?
I live above the influence.  Wait… is that commercial about drugs?  Never mind.

When did you know you wanted to be a comedian?
It was during that time in everyone's life when you realize that your life is insignificant and everything society wants you to believe is a lie.  So probably about 7 years old.

What is the best part about being a comic?
No lifting.

What is the worst part about being a comic?
Poor muscle tone.

If you were not a comedian, what would you be doing?
Weighing my career options… at my parents' house.

At what venue would you most like to perform?
I want to come to your house and perform for you and your family.  If it doesn't go well, I'm going to complain about how this isn't really the right venue for stand-up.

Vote for Shane Mauss in Jokes.com's Stand-Up Showdown. Just by voting, you are automatically entered to win a trip for two to the South Beach Comedy Festival — perfect for any blind date.

Russell Peters: Red, White and Brown

Posted by:

Even though Canada is literally a mere fifteen miles from my house, my knowledge of our neighbors to the north is pretty limited. But I do know that Canadians like their bacon round, their syrup maple and their comedians Russell Peters-y. And today, Russell Peters' DVD and CD Red, White and Brown is available from Comedy Central. Here are some uncensored clips from the special.
