Anyway, Futurama's highly-anticipated season finale Reincarnation airs tonight at 10/9c, but first, we've got one last behind-the-scenes tidbit to share with you. It's a set of storyboards from the episode's Max Fleischer-inspired segment.

We're just hours away from the premiere of Futurama's season finale, the highly-anticipated episode Reincarnation. Salon called it, "an orgy of nostalgia and visual invention, so densely imagined that it demands repeat viewings." You love orgies! Let's all be sure to come up with a good safe-word before we watch it. I call dibs on "Slurm."

You've seen some stills from the 8-bit video game-inspired sequence in Reincarnation, but today we have an actual clip from the segment, and it looks awesome! If you have any problems getting the video to play, just try taking it out and blowing in it.

What do you think legendary animator Max Fleischer would say if he were alive today to see the Futurama crew reimagined in his artistic style? No one can know for sure, but if you ask me, I think he'd probably say something like, "I'm 128 years old! Oh, God, why have you forsaken me?! Please, let me die!"

We posted some storyboards from Reincarnation's anime segment back in June, but today we've got even more. I don't want to encourage illegal behavior, but with all the sneak peek material being released from this thing, I wouldn't be surprised if we start seeing some flipbook bootlegs of the episode showing up on the black market soon.

Our countdown to Thursday's big Futurama season finale continues today with a look at the Planet Express crew (Also known as the Action Delivery Force) from the anime segment of the episode. You cannot deny that this looks really cool, though anyone who's seen a fair amount of anime has to be at least a little nervous about those tentacles on Zoidberg's face.

Earlier today we brought you some images from the Futurama season finale, featuring the Planet Express crew as old school video game characters. We also have two more exclusive images of the Fleischer-style cartoon segment. My favorite part about old cartoons is how much Dexter-level violence is performed while the characters sing and dance. That skeleton is not a xylophone. It is a skeleton!

Next week's Futurama is the season finale. Boo! But it's one of the coolest episodes ever! Yay! As you may remember from our pre-season Countdown to Futurama, Reincarnation features the show reimagined in three alternate animation styles: 8-bit video game, Japanese anime and early-20th century Max Fleischer. And now, with the finale just days away, we've got a whole bunch of extra stuff from the episode that we're going to be rolling out, beginning with this still of the Planet Express Crew as old school video game characters. Up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, b, a, start!
